Challenge yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually as we embark on the Machame Route to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest free-standing mountain in the world at 19,341 feet. On this most scenic route, you’ll traverse through an astonishing five different climate zones on the trek!

We’ve chosen 8 days for the ascent and descent, rather than the seven our CEO Amy Stoehr did in 2019, to allow for one extra day of acclimatization to ensure all have the chance to summit. YES, Amy is climbing again, to be with YOU and to raise awareness and funds for Kilimanjaro Kidz!

Dates:

29 August 2025 - depart USA

30 August 2025 - arrive in Tanzania

31 August 2025 - rest day; acclimate to altitude

1-8 September 2025 - climb!

9 September - depart for the US, returning 10 September OR if staying, continue on with LOVE.SAFARI crew!
